Nowadays, due to the advance of the technology, it is extremely easy for human beings to approach news stories in the daily life. People's mindset or behavior may be affected or changed by the environment or the information they received. As a result, the news that people read may make some potential impact on their life. Take the recent news about COVID-19 as an example, the news not only affects my daily behavior but also makes me have a new impression on Taiwan's government performance and medical care system.

To begin with, the news about the ongoing coronavirus spread has made a huge impact on my daily life and social behavior. Due to the warning of the possibility of human-to-human transmission of COVID-19, people are doing their best to reduce the inessential human contact to slow the spread of disease. To be more specific, before the outbreak of the disease, I had to take metro to office during the workdays. Now, my boss sometimes allows me to work from home to reduce the possibility of getting an infection when taking public transportation. Moreover, it has been more than two months since the last time that I hung out with my friends. We have video chat online instead of meeting in person. Hence, I have built up new life behaviors to cope with this coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, after watching TV news about how other countries are affected by the COVID-19, I changed my impression on the efficiency of our government and became amazed by how strong our medical care system is. For instance, I got the compliant from my friend who lives in the USA who could not find any face mask on a store shelf. Thanks to the correct decision of the government, we can easily purchase the face masks from the nearby convenience stores. What is more, we can even send masks to the relatives who live abroad. Besides from the masks supply, on account of the clear direction from Ministry of Health and Welfare and the support of strong medical care system, Taiwan can still keep the infection rate low without any lockdown order. I feel so proud of our government after reading the news, understanding their hard work and great performance.

In conclusion, it goes without saying that the news about COVID-19 would be the one that affects me the most recently. My behaviors and habits are changed to adapt to the new lifestyle for preventing the spread of disease. The news also leads me to have a different understanding of the performance of Taiwan government.
