It has been long discussed that people are asked when the best time in their life. Some people may claim that they have their best time during studying in college. As far as I am concerned, I do not agree that college years are the best time in a person's life. There are two reasons why the time during university years is not the best time in life.

First of all, some people may still be limited by certain regulations and not be able to do whatever they want to do during their college life. However, when people in their best time, they should be able to do the things in which they have strong passions. For example, my cousin studied business in a renowned college because my uncle hoped that my cousin could be a successful businessman in the future. Yet, my cousin is neither good at numeracy nor interested in business. He suffered from the courses and the exams in his college life. It was not until he graduated from college and started his own business to design websites did I see the smile shown on his face again. There is nothing better than turning interests into a career. Hence, it is hard to conclude that college years are the best time in people's life.

In addition, when people are in their best time of life, they are supposed to be surrounded by people who love them and whom they love. Nevertheless, most people have to leave home and their high school friends for college. People may have a hard time to adapt to a new environment. Take myself as an example, I am an introverted person. Not until at the end of my junior year did I get used to the college life and get familiar with the new friends I met in college. More than half of the time in my college years, I felt very lonely because I was not surrounded by people whom I love. Thus, I would not say that the college years are the best time of my life.

To sum up, even though some people contend that they would like to be college students again since they had their best time of life in the college years, from my personal experience and observation, I do not believe that college years are the best time in a person's life.
