【題目試寫】

In this set of materials, the reading passage states the advantage of bottled water, and why it becomes more prevalent. However, the listening passage contradicts the information presented in the reading passage.

First of all, the reading passage indicates that bottled water is healthier because its impurities are eliminated and controlled by the government. Nevertheless, the listening passage claims that fluoride can promote dental health. Once it is removed from water, it would cause the damage of tooth.

In addition, the article asserts that bottled water tastes better since it comes from natural springs and wells. Besides, contamination is removed in order to make people safe to drink. On the other hand, the speech describes that if all minerals are removed from bottled water, such as sodium, calcium and chlorides, it would taste flat.

Third, the text mentions that bottled water is convenient as it can be recycled and reused easily. In contrast, the lecture shows that only 15 percent of bottles are actually recycled, whereas the remaining 85 percent usually end up in landfills.
