【題目試寫】

In this set of materials, the reading passage states that many universities are raising students’ tuition because some legal reasons. However, the listening passage provides some solutions to deal with the issue.

First of all, the article indicates that universities are endeavoring to provide an outstanding education in order to attract better students, and hence they need to raise tuition. Nevertheless, the listening passage claims that schools can develop better courses or encourage the students to perform well. Therefore, the speech presents that improving school’s academic rank is not necessary to raise students’ tuition.

In addition, the text describes that government reduces general funding to school so that universities require to balance their budgets by increasing tuition. Yet, the lecture asserts that universities can cooperate with corporations so that students can get free state-of-the-art facilities and gain work opportunities easily. Moreover, the firms will also recruit new employees from universities since they understand the students got a superior education by previous cooperation experiences.
