【題目試寫】

In this set of materials, the reading passage states three data models of global warming. However, the listening passage contradicts the information presented in the reading passage.

First of all, the reading passage indicates that a consensus supported by scientists upholds the theory that greenhouse gases increase as a result of human activities, and it leads to global warming. Nevertheless, the listening passage claims that the up-to-date IPCC report admins that the models do not simulate clouds well.

Second, the article shows that satellite data sustain the study on climate change, while the speech asserts that the NASA data have evidence to prove more heat trapped than satellite data have recorded, and the NASA data have made observations for the past 25 years.

Third, the text mentions that the missing heat in ocean can explain why the global annual temperature is lower than the expected from warming models. Nonetheless, the lecture illustrates that the ocean at depths of about 2000 meters is cooling, and it is difficult to keep high temperature. Moreover, a hot spot closes to the tropics should have evaporated and cause rapid warming, whereas it is discordant with the global warming model.
